Job Summary
Auxis’ Finance Transformation consulting practice, as part of the BPO broader practice, partners with clients to solve high value operational and productivity challenges by redesigning finance and accounting processes, ways of working and implementing digital technologies.
The Consulting Manager will be responsible for providing professional business and shared services consulting services, both individually and as part of a project team. Duties include providing subject matter expertise across the practice landscape and developing high quality client deliverables and work product. Finance Transformation Managers are responsible for leading a team of consultants, while ensuring high-quality deliverables. Finance Transformation Managers will own client relationships during engagements to successfully deliver and support pre-sales activities as well as the identification of Auxis cross-selling opportunities. Also, the Consulting Manager will lead the creation of high valued-added practice methodologies, tools and deliverables. This position may require travel to client sites that are located outside of the South Florida area
Responsibilities
Client Engagement and Strategy:• Engage with client leaders and key stakeholders to understand clients' business objectives, challenges, and digital transformation needs.• Lead the development of shared services strategy and implementation projects, finance transformation roadmaps, and business cases that align with clients' vision, goals, and industry best practices.• Provide thought leadership and strategic guidance on accounting best practices, internal controls, digital trends, emerging technologies, and innovative solutions.Team Leadership and Management:• Lead and mentor cross-functional teams, providing guidance, coaching and professional development opportunities.• Assign and oversee project responsibilities, ensuring optimal resource allocation, skill utilization, and successful project delivery.• Foster a collaborative and high-performance culture, knowledge sharing, best practices, and continuous learning.Project Delivery and Execution:• Lead and execute when needed, the successful end-to-end delivery of finance transformation projects, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards.• Provide expert leadership in scoping projects, defining deliverables, and dependencies.• Manage project execution proactively, with a forward-looking view of risks, issues, critical decisions and recommended action items, including timely and effective engagement with client stakeholders• Collaborate with cross-functional teams and stakeholders to ensure seamless coordination and integration of digital transformation efforts.• Responsible for the creation and ownership of high-quality deliverables and outcomes.Finance Operating Model Strategy Implementation:• Guide clients in the implementation of finance and accounting strategies, driving process optimization, technology adoption, and change management efforts.• Lead workshops, meetings, and presentations to gather requirements, drive consensus, and communicate project progress and outcomes.• Monitor and measure the impact of finance transformation initiatives, leveraging metrics and KPIs to assess success and identify areas for continuous improvement.Relationship Management:• Build and maintain strong relationships with senior executives and key stakeholders, acting as a trusted advisor on digital transformation matters.• Identify new business opportunities and drive organic growth within existing client accounts.• Collaborate with business development teams to develop proposals, present capabilities, and secure new digital transformation consulting engagements.Thought Leadership and Industry Awareness:• Stay updated on industry trends, emerging technologies, and best practices related to digital transformation.• Share insights and expertise through thought leadership initiatives, including whitepapers, blogs, and speaking engagements.• Contribute to the development of intellectual property, methodologies, and frameworks related to digital transformation consulting.
Skills and Experience
• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Accounting.• At least 3 years of proven experience delivering finance technology solutions or finance transformation initiatives in a consulting or corporate/industry environment, including shared services or global business services transitions, ERP implementations or technology enables implementations.• A minimum of 5 years of experience working with Accounting and Controllership Departments in major corporations, management consulting, or auditing.• Proficiency in SAP (FICO) and/or other major ERPs (e.g., Oracle, NetSuite, Dynamics 365).• Proficient in MS Office tools (Visio, Excel, PowerPoint, Word) and project management tools
