As a full time, exempt CPS Solutions, LLC Clinical Pharmacy Manager, you will serve as the leader of clinical pharmacy programs and services, develop a strong clinical team in a progressive healthcare environment and hospital. Responsibilities Include: developing and maintenance of a drug policy to support optimal pharmaceutical care and promotes optimal cost effectiveness for all patients; assess, develop, coordinate, implement, and maintenance of clinically relevant tools to support clinical programs and services; aid the Director of Pharmacy in maintaining the pharmacy and an annual clinical plan with the Regional Director of Clinical Service. This position will manage clinical programs including employees and initiatives (kinetics, antibiotic stewardship, financial goals and nutrition support) and collaborate with hospital committees to improve hospital quality metrics.
Hours: This day shift position is scheduled 40 hours per week Monday-Friday day shift.
Starting Pay: $156,000 to $176,800 annually, depending on experience
About the Facility: Lake Charles Memorial Hospital is the region's largest family-centered medical complex, serving the healthcare needs of Southwest Louisiana. Memorial consists of a 391-bed acute-care hospital, with a 324-bed facility at the main campus on Oak Park Boulevard; Memorial Hospital for Women, a 38-bed women's facility at Gauthier and Nelson Roads; and a 29-bed long-term acute-care facility. The hospital is fully licensed by Joint Commission. CPS Solutions, LLC has partnered with the hospital to manage the day to day operations of this pharmacy. This position is an employee of CPS Solutions, LLC.
About the Pharmacy: The Pharmacy utilizes Medselect and Paragon. Pharmacy is open 24 hours, 7 day a week.
Required Qualifications:
- PharmD from an ACPE-accredited School of Pharmacy
- Current Louisiana Pharmacist license in good standing
- Experience as a clinical pharmacist in a hospital setting preferred
- Successful completion of a Pharmacy Practice Residency preferred
- Experience using computer applications including word processing, spreadsheets, and pharmacy information systems
- Demonstrated ability to work independently, set priorities, make critical decisions, respond to client concerns and work cooperatively with other staff.
