Compensation

The base hourly rate for this position is $29.60.

Job Title: Warehouse Fleet Coordinator

Position Overview

The Warehouse Fleet Coordinator is responsible for supporting and communicating JM core values while delivering the JM customer experience. This position coordinates and supports all fleet-related activities by gathering, entering, and maintaining accurate data within SAP and the warehouse management system. The role also includes creating daily reports and providing administrative and operational support to warehouse and logistics functions as directed by the leadership team.

Key Responsibilities:

Fleet & Transportation Coordination

  • Designate, assign, and log each delivery load to the appropriate fleet driver.
  • Verify scheduled delivery appointments with the point of contact at the delivery location.
  • Actively monitor available transportation assets using designated software and internal coordination.
  • Verify fleet driver mileage, driver logs, and trip reports for accuracy and compliance.
  • Ensure fleet drivers depart with complete and accurate delivery paperwork.
  • Professionally communicate with corporate customer service and transportation teams regarding order status, delivery updates, or changes.

Shipping & Warehouse Operations

  • Facilitate and support the loading process for next-day deliveries.
  • Confirm proper building and loading of materials on trailers (load checks).
  • Assist in resolving shipping discrepancies in coordination with warehouse leadership.
  • Serve as backup Shipping Coordinator as needed.
  • Operate a forklift and/or yard dog to support preloading and warehouse operations.
  • Assist with strapping and tarping trailer loads daily in accordance with standard operating procedures (SOPs).
  • Coordinate and perform inventory practices according to established SOPs.

Systems, Reporting & Administration

  • Use SAP and warehouse management systems to manage, update, and modify load and delivery information.
  • Address system-related questions or changes related to loads and delivery schedules.
  • Create and maintain daily reports related to fleet and delivery activity.
  • Perform administrative office tasks including filing, retrieving, and maintaining outbound shipping documentation.
  • Responsibilities may include other duties as assigned based on operational needs

Leadership Responsibilities

  • This position does not have direct supervisory responsibilities.
  • The Warehouse Fleet Coordinator is expected to interact professionally and collaboratively as a leader with employees across all plant departments.

Requirements (Education, Skills & Abilities)

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • 1–3 years of experience working with SAP or a warehouse management system.
  • Previous experience in a fast-paced warehouse or logistics environment.
  • Strong problem-solving and customer service skills.
  • Ability to manage shifting priorities and time-sensitive demands.
  • Strong verbal and electronic communication skills.
  • Proficiency with SAP and/or warehouse management software.
  • Strong organizational, planning, time-management, and self-motivation skills.
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

Physical Requirements

The physical requirements listed below are typical for manufacturing and warehouse roles:

  • Ability to stand for extended periods of time.
  • Ability to safely lift, push, or pull at least 50 pounds using proper body mechanics, including in awkward positions.
  • Repetitive use of hands for grasping, pulling, sensing, and handling.
  • Ability to work safely in a fast-paced, occasionally stressful warehouse environment.
