<p>Purpose & Overall Relevance for the Organization:</p>
<p> </p>
<p>The role of senior manager, learning and development will drive the Global L&D strategy. They will be responsible for developing, implementing, and sustaining learning and development initiatives supporting the success of the organization. This role requires a high level of versatility as you can be asked to design, and/or build, facilitate, and/or implement and/or deliver parts our end-to-end development/learning based solutions. For some of these development/learning based solutions you may have to act as expert in one of the various fields linked to this role: this could be design, development or delivery or/and driving and managing the projects. These development/learning solutions will need to incorporate a certain level of innovation, market understanding, communications, technology, live and virtual events. Therefore, keeping abreast of the industry evolution and revolution is key.</p>

<p>The role will also require establishing strong collaboration with various stakeholder groups within the organization such as Talent Partners, HR teams, and Business Leaders globally.</p>

<p>Key Responsibilities:</p>
<p> </p>
<ul>
<li>Manages end to end learning/development-based programs from selection, development through to placement in new roles.</li>
<li>Manages project that are linked to the L&D strategy</li>
<li>Collaborates with HR/ talent partners on specific projects to identify training and development needs</li>
<li>Facilitates formal and informal learning through various techniques and formats such as role-playing, job simulations, team exercises, group discussions, and multimedia that engage the learner, encourages participation, and ensures learning transfer. </li>
<li>Drives program participant experience to foster desired culture and behaviors within the organization</li>
<li>Evaluates and measures training effectiveness to determine evolutions and recommendations on future learning needs and solutions. </li>
<li>Researches, evaluates, negotiates with outside vendors and resources. </li>
<li>Manages vendor effectively to ensure project delivery success</li>
</ul>

<p>Knowledge, Skills and Abilities: </p>
<ul>
<li>Dynamic and strong facilitation skills with the ability to work with learning group dynamics</li>
<li>Ability to handle difficult participants and turn around mindset and behaviors</li>
<li>Understanding of program design to be able to feedback to program managers/designers on content and ideas for program evolution</li>
<li>Understanding of the business strategy and commercial awareness</li>
<li>Ability to manage end to end complex, multi-faceted projects </li>
<li>Ability to collaborate with various stakeholders inside and outside the organization</li>
<li>Strong written and verbal communication with engaging presentation skills to groups of various size and level</li>
<li>People management: setting team goals as well as individual objectives to support company strategy, </li>
<li>Ability to forecast and plan and organize the team capacity to reach high level of performance</li>
<li>Demonstrates initiative and provides complete follow-through on all areas of responsibility. </li>
<li>Ability to provide solutions to support business needs through creative problem solving and innovation</li>
<li>Outstanding organizational skills: including the ability to effectively prioritize and meet deadlines, as well as multi-task in a fast paced and ‘start-up like’ environment</li>
<li>Operates with curiosity with an ability to manage ambiguity and push through business challenges with a focus on continuous development. </li>
<li>Computer skills in Microsoft Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint). </li>
</ul>
<p>Requisite Education and Experience / Minimum Qualifications: </p>
<ul>
<li>University degree or equivalent preferably with a focus in Psychology, Organizational Development, HR, and Communication, Management, Social Sciences or Business Administration.</li>
<li>Additional certifications in related areas a plus. </li>
<li>Minimum of 7-8 years progressive work experience preferably in an international organization</li>
<li>international mindset and experience of working in diverse environment including different culture</li>
<li>Fluent in English, and ideally in one other language or more</li>
<li>5-8 years’ experience in a Training/Learning/Talent/Organizational Development related role</li>
<li>Demonstrated experience providing training in various environment</li>
<li>Experience in designing, developing, implementing and delivering training content and
