Senior Financial Analyst, Vascular Operations
Abbott Vascular provides innovative, minimally invasive and cost-effective products for treatment of vascular disease. Our extensive portfolio includes drug-eluting stents, bare metal stents, guide wires, balloon dilatation catheters, imaging catheters and software, vessel closure devices and peripheral stents.
The Opportunity
Our location in Temecula, California currently has an opportunity for a Senior Financial Analyst responsible for consolidation activities related to Global Vascular Operations. In this role, you will work with the Site Controllers and Finance Leads at our 7 manufacturing sites and 2 distribution centers as well as the Division Manufacturing Services group. This position is a key role within Vascular Division Finance that partners with various levels of leadership to drive financial ownership, cost efficiency, and process improvement. This position will be responsible for complex, timely, and accurate financial planning, forecasting, and reporting for the business.
What You’ll Work On
Support financial analysis for Vascular Operations by partnering with finance leadership, plant controllers, and distribution center teams
Assist with consolidating financial results and activities across the Vascular Operations network
Prepare and support forecasting processes, including Annual Plans, Latest Best Estimates (LBEs), and long-range forecasts
Perform balance sheet analysis and forecasting across operational finance teams
Manage month-end close activities, including journal entries, actuals reporting, and variance analysis against forecasts
Develop and deliver financial analysis for manufacturing plants, distribution centers, and divisional operations teams
Coordinate audit and tax support requests in collaboration with accounting and finance leadership
Generate ad hoc financial reports and analyses to support business decision-making
Create and maintain financial tools, reports, and dashboards to track performance, trends, and key metrics
Effectively manage multiple priorities, meet deadlines, and work independently with minimal supervision
Ensure compliance with internal controls and financial governance requirements
Required Qualifications
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field
4+ years of experience in month-end close, financial variance analysis, and forecasting
