However, one thing remains simple: Marley Spoon exists because we love cooking, and we love eating!</p> <p>The Strategy &amp; Planning team at Marley Spoon is growing and we are now looking for an exceptional <strong>Senior Network Planner </strong>for the US entity.</p><p><br/></p> <p><strong>What we are looking for:</strong> </p> <p>As a <strong>Senior Network Planner </strong>at Marley Spoon, your primary focus will be on network planning and design, with a secondary emphasis on broader supply chain topics. Your role is crucial in optimizing our distribution network and ensuring efficient and cost-effective movement of ingredients and finished goods. By leveraging your expertise in network design, you will play a key role in enhancing customer satisfaction, reducing costs, and driving overall business success. </p> <p><strong>What you will do:</strong></p> <ul> <li>Lead the development and optimization of US Marley Spoon's distribution network, including the design and implementation of transportation, warehousing, and inventory strategies to support efficient operations and meet customer demand.</li> <li>Analyze current and future capacity requirements based on business forecasts and new M&amp;A activity, market trends, and growth projections. Develop strategies to optimize capacity utilization, ensure scalability, and adapt to changing business needs.</li> <li>Build business cases and pitch decks to advise US Senior Leadership Team on how to approach strategic opportunities for M&amp;A and capital investments based on network design and opportunities to the bottom line;</li> <li>Continuously evaluate and refine the distribution network to drive operational efficiency, minimize transportation costs, reduce lead times, and enhance customer service levels;</li> <li>Collaborate with Strategic Sourcing and Supply Planners to advise opportunities for improvement in the design of the Supplier Network</li> <li>Work closely with internal teams, including Operations, Procurement, and Logistics, to align network planning strategies with broader supply chain goals, address challenges, and provide data-driven strategic guidance</li> <li>Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Develop and maintain key performance indicators (KPIs) to monitor network performance. Generate regular reports and presentations to communicate insights and recommendations to stakeholders.</li> <li>Process Improvement: Identify areas for process improvement within the network planning function. Utilize data-driven analysis and industry best practices to drive efficiency, cost savings, and customer satisfaction.</li> <li>Supply Chain Support: Assist the broader supply chain team by providing expertise and guidance on supply chain planning topics as requested</li> </ul><p><strong>Requirements</strong></p><p><strong>Who we believe can excel in this role:</strong></p> <p>An individual with:</p> <ul> <li>Bachelor's Degree or Master's Degree in a Science, Technology, Engineering, or Mathematics related field</li> <li>7+ years of relevant experience ideally in supply chain and network planning roles growth Direct-to-Consumer industry or the CPG/Food &amp; Beverage industry</li> <li>Prior experience presenting to and leading discussions with large groups, including Heads/VP and C-Level</li> <li>Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data and translate insights into actionable strategies</li> <li>Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across different teams and influence stakeholders at various levels of the organization</li> <li>Proven track record of successfully implementing network planning and design initiatives and achieving measurable results</li> <li>Strong stakeholder management and relationship-building capabilities with the ability to collaborate and influence to drive positive outcomes</li> <li>Detail-oriented with a high level of accuracy and a strong sense of urgency to meet deadlines</li> <li>Continuous improvement and organization mindset</li> <li>Ability to work with cross-functional teams and provide tactful feedback</li> <li>Attention to detail and bigger picture vision</li> <li>Ability to work against metrics and deliver concrete,
