Senior Software Engineer

Microsoft Intune - one of the fastest growing cloud-based enterprise services at Microsoft - allows IT professionals to manage the ever-increasing usage of mobile devices in the workplace, allowing them to secure corporate assets & data while giving users the confidence that their personal data stays private. Business, governments, and educational institutions are under constant threat from a variety of actors, and they are attacking users in record numbers.

The Microsoft Intune Team protect Microsoft’s customers and their devices across the world and secure their devices from corporate espionage, data leakage, and application infiltration. Intune is a multi-platform solution (Windows, iOS, MacOS and Android), integrates with key cloud services at Microsoft, and is built on some of the latest Azure technologies. We are looking for a Senior Software Engineer to join our team and help us with AI for IT. This team is responsible for building Copilot and Agentic AI capabilities, which enable admins to efficiently complete their tasks, making organizations more productive and secure.

This Hybrid Position is located at our Microsoft office in Redmond, Washington. Relocation support will be provided, and successful candidates will need to relocate or reside within 50 miles of the field location. 

Responsibilities

• Tech lead development of AI-enabled features and functionalities.
• Ensure the scalability, reliability, and performance of AI solutions.
• Investigate security, performance and scale problems and make customer-driven improvements.
• Deploy and support our services for partner teams and our customers.
• Collaborate with team members as part of an agile team.
• Constantly learn and grow as an engineer and as a member of a diverse and inclusive community.

Qualifications

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, or related technical discipline AND 4+ years technical engineering experience with coding in languages including, but not limited to, C, C++, C#, Java, JavaScript, TypeScript, Go, Ruby or Python
  • OR equivalent experience.

• 4+ year(s) of industry experience building, designing, managing and delivering highly available, large-scale: cloud services and/or distributed systems / services on a cloud platform

• Microsoft Cloud Background Check: This position will be required to pass the Microsoft Cloud Background Check upon hire/transfer and every two years thereafter.
