JOB PURPOSE:

The Compliance manager oversees governance processes to ensure all Ice Cream organizations comply with SHE laws, regulations, and internal standards. This role involves developing, implementing, and managing compliance programs, including auditing, audit action tracking, and reporting.

The scope covers all factories, offices, R&D centers, distribution centers, field sales, and merchandisers, and includes technologies such as Personal and Process Safety, Construction Safety, Health, Industrial Hygiene, and Environmental compliance. Be aware, your traveling up to 50% of the time, since you participate in audits!

The Compliance Manager collaborates across the organization to implement SHE technology, tools, and processes, continuously simplifying compliance and fostering a strong SHE compliance culture.  The Compliance Manager also manages a team of Data Analysts to simplify global SHE reporting to ensure protection of people and planet.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES: 

Develop and Implement Audit and Reporting Compliance Programs:

  • Create and manage programs to ensure adherence to SHE laws, regulations, and internal standards.
  • Oversee auditing, audit action tracking, and reporting processes.
  • Develop tools to identify repeat findings and systemic gaps across the SHE standards.
  • Report to senior leaders on summary findings from the audit program.

Training and Communication:

  •   Provide training and guidance to employees, contractors, and third-party suppliers on compliance matters.
