Summary

Perform deliveries and in-home installations of furniture and accessories. Must drive a company box truck and pull, prep and assemble high-end furniture. Help in the warehouse when needed. This is a full time position with a M-F workweek. 

Responsibilities and Duties:

• Drive company vehicles to make in-home deliveries
• Prep and assemble furniture and accessories in a customer’s home
• Receive and process furniture and rack in the correct warehouse location
• Operate forklift, picker, dolly, pallet jack, and reach using all safety equipment
• Loading and unloading of trucks and containers
• Follow all safety and loss prevention procedures
• Learn and use company software to update all transfers, receiving and inventory moves
• Participate in keeping the warehouse and company vehicles clean
• Permanent or temporary duties as assigned by supervisor
• Maintaining a clean driving record

Requirements

• Experience driving a box truck, (minimum 6 months)
• Valid driver’s license and clean driving record to qualify to be insured
• White-glove customer service mindset and communication proficiency
• Strict adherence to all safety policies and procedures
• Ability to lift 50+ lbs
• Ability to operate forklift and other warehouse equipment, plus scanning and computer equipment
• 1-year warehouse and furniture delivery experience preferred
• High School education or equivalent preferred
• Reliability, punctuality, and professional appearance is a mustOther Information:
