About the Job:
The Global Supply Chain Strategy Lead is responsible for leading and supporting the creation and implementation of supply chain strategies that drive breakthrough business outcomes. This transformation-focused role offers significant leadership potential and global reach, making it an exciting opportunity for growth and impact.
In this role, the leader will directly manage a global team of 2–3 value chain leaders, overseeing their work across key markets and ensuring effective execution of value optimization initiatives. The Global Supply Chain Strategy Lead also owns the global value engineering and value chain optimization program, leading cross-functional efforts to generate cost savings and operational efficiencies through product, portfolio, and supply chain redesign. The role includes close collaboration with senior commercial and operational stakeholders to deliver shared top- and bottom-line results.
The Global Supply Chain Strategy Lead will report to the Senior Director, Supply Chain Strategy, Performance and Sustainability.
Salary Range:
$160,400 - $188,800 annually + bonus eligibility. This is the expected salary range for this position. Ultimately, in determining pay, we'll consider the successful candidate’s location, experience, and other job-related factors.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead, support, and drive the global supply chain transformation roadmap to deliver breakthrough improvements. Key areas of focus include procurement / category management, S&OP/IBP, supply chain planning, and distribution.
- Own the global value engineering and value chain optimization program, delivering cost savings and capability improvements through:
- SKU and portfolio management, including rationalization of underperforming or duplicative items
- Product and packaging redesign focused on cost, sustainability, and manufacturability
- Specification simplification and harmonization to unlock scale
- Supplier-led innovation and cost-out efforts
- Facilitation of cross-functional value analysis initiatives to identify high-impact opportunities
- Directly manage 2–3 global value chain leaders, providing coaching, direction, and performance management to enable strong business impact and professional growth.
- Collaborate closely with key commercial stakeholders at the General Manager and Vice President level to ensure alignment of priorities and delivery of mutual top- and bottom-line value.
- Collaborate with regional Chief Supply Chain Officers and the global supply chain leadership team to develop actionable work plans and strategies aligned to financial, service, and outcome-based targets.
- Drive governance and oversight of the project management portfolio, ensuring a consistent approach to savings and reporting.
- Collaborate on development of the category management and value creation roadmap across direct and indirect spend, integrating updates into the Annual Operating Plan and quarterly business reviews.
Qualifications:
- 10–15 years of progressive experience in supply chain, operations, or strategy roles, ideally within a global or matrixed organization
- Proven track record leading cross-functional initiatives and delivering measurable results in cost savings, process improvement, or portfolio optimization
- Strong leadership experience, including direct people management and team development
- Ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive alignment across commercial, operational, and functional areas
