Are you ready to make a meaningful impact on the coordination and scheduling of operations in a dynamic and fast-paced environment? We are seeking a Seasonal Planner Scheduler Assistant to join our team and contribute to the success of our production processes. If you have a keen eye for detail, excellent organizational skills, and thrive in a problem-solving environment, we want to hear from you!
As a member of our team, you’ll work closely with the rest of the Supply Chain Planning team and will be involved with all planning tasks from grape fermentation to wine storage.
This includes and is not limited to:
- Support the scheduling and coordination of workflow within and between departments.
- Participate in the development and review of the master production schedule and work orders.
- Create work orders and daily harvest schedules in Gallo’s industry software program.
- Update work orders as needed based on evolving requirements.
- Maintain effective communication across departments
What You'll Need
- High School diploma or State-issued equivalency certificate plus 2 years of planning/scheduling or production/operations experience reflecting increasing levels of responsibilities.
- Skilled in the use of MS Excel at a basic level.
- Skilled in reading, comprehending, interpreting and executing simple instructions, short correspondence and memos.
- Skilled in writing simple correspondence.
- Skilled in adding, subtracting, multiplying and dividing using whole numbers.
- Required to maintain 7 day availability to work; required to work when scheduled.
- Required to work overtime when necessary.
- Required to travel to company offices, sites, and/or meeting locations for onboarding, training, meetings, and events for development, department needs, and business delivery up to 5% of the time, with or without reasonable accommodation. This may be in addition to travel requirements, if applicable, as listed in this job description.
