Senior SAP Warehouse Management & Extended Warehouse Management (WM-EWM) Consultant

We are looking for an experienced SAP EWM/WM Consultant to join our team and play a key role in designing, implementing, and optimizing SAP Warehouse Management solutions. In this role, you will analyse business requirements, develop SAP-enabled solutions, and ensure seamless integration of logistics and warehouse processes.

You will be responsible for gathering and documenting business needs, configuring SAP EWM and WM functionalities, conducting testing, and supporting system go-live. Additionally, you will lead workshops, collaborate with stakeholders, and mentor junior team members.

Key Responsibilities of the role:

• Analyse business requirements (e.g., functional and technical requirements, information needs, business processes) through conducting information-gathering sessions with clients, analysing the information and being able to document an accurate understanding of their business requirements and mapping of those to SAP business processes.
• Provide estimates, impact analysis, feasibility assessments for SAP based solutions for customer requirements. Confidence and ability to make recommendations for the selection of appropriate SAP business processes to meet client requirements effectively.
• Develop process models based on business requirements in order to determine the completeness of the information and process components. Designing SAP enabled solutions and functional specifications.
• Functionality Testing: Knowledge of and ability to use testing methodologies, processes and tools for testing of functionality, including unit, integration, system, regression and dry run testing.
• Design and develop test plans (e.g., test objectives, test cases, test data, test scripts) for executing unit, integration, system or acceptance testing to ensure the solution meets the business requirements.
• Coordinate execution of project tasks in your functional area and be comfortable in working under the pressure of tight project deadlines.
• Working closely with the Organisational Change Management (OCM) team and supporting the preparation and execution of training of SAP users
• Plan and carry out cut-over activities and go live support
• Support for users after go-live of the system in hyper car environment.
• Mentor and guide junior team members, sharing your knowledge and expertise in SAP implementation methodologies, tools, and techniques.

YOUR PROFILE

• Your knowledge of core Warehousing Management solutions will allow you to shape, build and deliver solutions in your functional area as well as contribute to the growth of the SAP SCM Capability.
• Provide expert functional consulting within SAP S/4HANA EWM and WM projects, translating business requirements and use cases into detailed solution designs.
• Analyse business needs and design SAP LE/WM and EWM solutions, ensuring alignment with industry best practices and standards.
• Lead and participate in full project lifecycle delivery, including system upgrades, enhancements, and new deployments in SAP LE/WM and EWM.
• Collaborate in cross-functional, agile, and distributed teams, working across various stages of supply chain management projects and contributing proactively.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with client stakeholders, positioning yourself as a trusted advisor.
• Provide thought leadership by identifying and aligning SAP solutions and new capabilities with customer requirements.
• Lead workshops to understand business processes with the ability to articulate best/standard practice.
• Configure SAP systems to support logistics and warehouse processes, ensuring seamless integration with other SAP modules.
• Extensive SAP Consulting Experience: Proven experience in SAP S/4HANA and ECC, specialising in both EWM and WM, with a background in Inventory Management (IM).
• End-to-End Implementation Expertise: Demonstrated experience in multiple full lifecycle design and implementation programmes within S/4HANA or ECC, specifically in logistics execution and warehouse management.
• Solution Design and Optimisation: Skilled in designing and optimising logistics, warehouse processes, and warehouse organisation structures to meet varied business requirements, ensuring efficient and effective solutions.
