Work Shift:
Evening - 12 Hour (United States of America)9:30a-10pResponsible for delivering high-quality patient care, working collaboratively with the healthcare team, and providing support and education to patients and their families. Prioritize each patient's nursing care needs through use of the nursing process of assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation - developing care plans, administer medications and treatments, monitor patient progress, and advocate for their well-being. Responsible for maintaining accurate records, promoting health initiatives, and participating in ongoing professional development. Additional duties and responsibilities may be required based on the unit or floor assigned. Provides care in accordance with Houston Healthcare's Plan for the Provision of Nursing Care, Standards of Care, and Standards of Performance.
Graduate from accredited School of Nursing. Residency or Fellowship programs may apply depending on department and experience.
Current US state RN license with authorization to practice in the state of GA. Current AHA/ARC BLS certification. Must obtain and maintain required ortho education/training as mandated in the Houston Healthcare Joint Destination Center of Excellence Policy.
Must be able to utilize diagnostic equipment as well as patient care equipment. Must be able to utilize personal protective equipment such as gloves, gown, mask, etc. Must be able to utilize standard office equipment. Proficient in utilizing Microsoft Office (i.e., Excel, Word, PowerPoint, Outlook, Midas, etc.). Proficiency in Intranet/Internet use. Excellent patient care skills. Excellent oral/written communication skills. Skilled in conflict resolution, critical thinking, task management and appropriate prioritization/delegation.
