The Role:

As a Senior Full Stack Software Engineer, you will have the opportunity to work in close collaboration with technical stakeholders to enhance and optimize Arine’s Flagship web applications, APIs, and data management/processing systems. You will support, maintain, and develop software using a variety of tools, including but not limited to TypeScript, Python, and AWS Lambda.

What You’ll be Doing:

• Design, develop, test, and maintain scalable front-end and back-end components using modern frameworks
• Architect and implement robust, secure APIs and data integrations 
• Lead code reviews, mentor junior developers, and contribute to the continuous improvement of engineering practices
• Collaborate cross-functionally with product, design, and operations teams to define and ship high-impact features
• Participate in sprint planning, retrospectives, and other agile ceremonies

Who You Are and What You Bring:

• Expert knowledge in TypeScript
  • Can dive into existing web applications, drive best practices, and produce scalable and robust solutions
• Proficient in Cloud Services (AWS is preferred)
• Comfortable writing unit and integration tests (TDD is preferred)
• Proficient with Git/GitHub, branching, merging, and pull requests
• Meticulous attention to detail with the ability to own a project end-to-end, gather and translate requirements, communicate and collaborate with Stakeholders, and mentor junior engineers
• Comfortable working in a fast-paced environment with a strong ability to adapt to changing priorities
• Results-oriented and can deliver against strict deadlines
• A team player who can also work independently

Requirements:

• 5+ years of professional experience in full-stack software engineering
• Strong knowledge of modern TypeScript and component-based frontend frameworks (React preferred)
• Solid experience integrating with backend services and RESTful API development
