Associate Scientist - Modeling and Meta Analysis

As part of the OPEN Health E&A team, you'll be responsible for the following activities:
- Work across a variety of US and global projects in health economics outcomes research
- Design and construct economic models (cost-effectiveness models, budget impact models) and/or meta-analyses (comparative effectiveness analyses, meta-analyses)
- Develop study protocols, analyses/programming, and technical reports
- Track budget/timeline/deliverables and support client interactions
- Support responses to Request for Proposals and proposal development
- Share knowledge and expertise with members of the team
What you will bring:
- 1–3+ years’ experience in economic modeling and/or meta-analysis, preferably with a consulting or pharmaceutical company
- Master’s degree or PhD in engineering, epidemiology, mathematics, statistics, economics or medical sciences
- Experience with design and/or implementation of economic models, meta-analysis, or other mathematical modeling
- Intellectual curiosity, independence, the ability to self-start, and attention to detail
- Proactive, responsive, and able to balance shifting priorities and ensuring that promises are kept and expectations are met/exceeded
- Sound presentation and communication skills to present complex technical information to non-technical audiences
- Experience with programming languages (VBA, R, WinBUGS/OpenBUGS, etc.)
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite with an emphasis on Excel, Word, and PowerPoint
