Job Summary
The primary function of the IT Support Specialist is to identify, troubleshoot and resolve problems encountered by users of servers, desktop systems, network, Internet and other computer technology. They provide technical support to end-users regarding computer hardware and software. This position installs, sets-up and tests computers and other hardware and software. They train users in various software applications and network-related procedures.

- Follow department objectives, standards and procedures.
- Receives and attends incidents and requests.
- Identifies, troubleshoots and resolves hardware, software, and network-related problems encountered by end-users of the Sanitas network, the Internet, PCs and other technology.
- Acts proactively to prevent issues.
- Configures, installs and updates computers and other devices in response to demands.
- Trains end-users on the use and features of the operating systems and applications on the various platforms.
- Installs, set-up and troubleshoots network equipment.
- Will use service manager to log requests; monitors progress, tracks problem resolution, identify patterns of failure, research bug fixes and implements solutions. Communicates with the manager regarding unresolved problems.
- Provides onsite and remote support.
- Responsible for attending meetings and training as required.
- Perform other assigned duties as required.

Qualifications
Supervisory Responsibilities
This position has no supervisory responsibilities.
Required Education
- Associate’s degree in computer science or relate field preferred
- Comp TIA certification preferred
Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology Preferred. (Foreigner degree from accredited universities accepted).
Required Experience
- One year of experience in a relative technology field or Three years of experience in a relative technology field if no education is met.
- Current experience providing technical desktop and network support in a large multi-platform and multi-operating systems environment.
- Computer, devices, network and software trouble-shooting and problem solving skills required.
- Bi-lingual fluency in English and Spanish preferred
