INTERN - PAID EDUC STUDENT (ElevateEd)

PLEASE NOTE: This role is only for High School students participating in ElevateEd and partnering school districts (Phoenix Union, Mesa, Deer Valley, Paradise Valley, and ASU Prep)

Mayo Clinic in Arizona is seeking high school and college interns for Paid Educational Student Internship opportunities. Interns will work on a specific project that will provide a challenging learning opportunity. Responsibilities will vary based upon your course of study and the business unit to which you are assigned. The successful candidate will possess excellent communication, interpersonal, problem solving, organizational, and analytical skills, as well as, proficiency in Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Word. These paid internship opportunities will be in one of the following areas Administration, Department of Nursing, and Radiology. Some of the various roles will include Administrative Assistant, Transport Assistant, Health Unit Coordinator (HUC), Patient Appointment Service Specialist (PASS), Orthopedic Technician Assistant, Medical Administrative Assistant, and Sterile Processing Attendant.

Qualifications

• Candidates must meet the following minimum qualifications for consideration: 2.5 Cumulative GPA. 
• Authorized to work in the United States for the entire duration of the internship. 
• Currently registered in school as a full-time student
• Prior research and/or health care experience preferred. 
• Prior internship experience preferred.
