*2nd Shift: 2:00 pm - 10:30 pm
Work Location: 5310 Historic Old Hwy 90, San Antonio, TX 78227
Salary, based on experience and other qualifications: $21.95 per hour plus $1.00 shift differential

Duties and Responsibilities:

Safe Equipment Operation & Maintenance:
- Assists with routine and non-routine plant sanitation activities.
- Ensures equipment is clean and food safe.
Product Handling, Quality Control & Inventory Management:
- Understand and follow plant policies for placing materials on hold and collecting retention samples.
- Assist with chemical inventory control following FIFO practices.
Food Safety & Sanitation Compliance:
- Follow GMP, HACCP, SQF, FSMA, and company food safety policies.
- Maintain cleanliness and sanitation.
- Work in all areas of the facility, both inside and outside, and on all floors in the facility.
- Cleans assigned facilities and/or grounds (e.g. offices, restrooms, conference rooms, warehouse, grounds, etc.) for the purpose of maintaining a sanitary, safe and attractive environment.
- Performs minor, job related, maintenance on custodial equipment, furniture and fixtures (e.g. change ballasts, vacuum cleaner belts, bags, etc.) for the purpose of ensuring proper functioning and usability of items
- Replenishes breakroom, test kitchen, offices, conference rooms and rest room supplies (e.g. snacks, paper towels, soap, etc.) for the purpose of ensuring adequate quantities for daily use
Team Collaboration, Leadership & Training:
- Assist team members, adapt to operational changes, and contribute to productivity, safety, and quality goals.
Documentation, Communication & Continuous Improvement:
- Prepare accurate written documentation.
