About the role
- Owns the Equipment Development Center with focus on safety and quality, enabling and promoting its use for early technical readiness.
- Applies engineering knowledge and technical expertise to develop innovative technology alternatives, analyzes the options, recommends the best technical solution possible to optimize the value to the business, predicts performance, and supports the execution of the selected option.
- Delivers from proof-of-principle up to ready for production technologies. Including financial justification.
- Actively manages scope, cost, and schedule of a project to ensure delivery of all success criteria.
- Effectively operates in a team environment including the ability to communicate effectively, to build collaborative relationships, and to contribute to a healthy team culture.
- Influences project direction based on analysis and understanding of project facts. Able to gather and analyze data in area of responsibility.
- Sets personal direction, manages multiple priorities, and grows personal knowledge and capability to deliver expected results and meet the business need.
- Sets direction for project team members and contract resources.

- >5 years of experience in an Engineering position is desired.
- Battery or similar CPG industry experience is a plus
- This position might require domestic and international travel – approximately 10-25%
