We are currently seeking a End User Computing Associate to join our team in Herndon, Virginia (US-VA), United States (US).

Job Duties:

• Diagnoses and troubleshoots Level 1 problems encountered with personal computer hardware, software and peripherals.
• Configures and installs personal computing hardware and peripherals.
• Provides software installation, updates and responds to questions, including individual training and troubleshooting.
• Manages inventory of personal computing devices in the asset database for their support area.
• Performs limited repairs to hardware, including hard drive, power supply and motherboard replacements, as well as addressing other simple, miscellaneous issues.

 

Basic Qualifications:

• Minimum 1 year of experience providing software installation, updates and responds to questions.
• High School Diploma or equivalent combination of education and work experience.

 

Preferred Qualifications:

• Ability to develop business relationships and communicate effectively with the user community.
• Basic troubleshooting skills.
• Basic understanding of the fundamentals of network, server, and desktop administration, installations, and upgrades.
