Job Description Summary:

We are looking for a highly creative and strategic Social Media Assistant Manager to support the growth of KISS Products International across multiple social media platforms. This role requires expertise in social media strategy, content planning, writing, community management, and analytics. You will be responsible for planning and scheduling content, writing engaging captions, overseeing community interactions, and ensuring brand consistency across all channels.
This position is ideal for someone with a strong eye for photography (iPhone), video content creation, and Canva design skills. You should be savvy with Instagram/Facebook, TikTok, and Pinterest, knowledgeable about social media boosting (especially through Meta), and comfortable collaborating with agencies, creative teams, and international marketing teams.
The ideal candidate is a strong writer, highly organized, and passionate about creating compelling content that drives engagement and brand growth.

Job Description:

• Social Media Strategy & Content Planning
  • Develop and execute social media strategies to support brand awareness, engagement, and conversions.
  • Plan and manage content calendars, ensuring timely and effective content delivery.
  • Write engaging and on-brand social media captions for various platforms.
• Content Creation & Visual Design
  • Capture high-quality iPhone photography for social media posts (only if necessary).
  • Film, edit, and conceptualize short-form video content for TikTok, Instagram Reels, and other platforms.
  • Be comfortable appearing on camera occasionally for social content.
  • Design visually appealing graphics using Canva and collaborate with the multimedia team for more elaborate designs.
• Community Management & Engagement
  • Oversee social media community management via Dash Social and natively within apps.
  • Monitor and engage with audience comments, messages, and mentions to foster brand loyalty.
  • Manage a grassroots list of UGC (user-generated content) creators, identifying and maintaining relationships with potential brand advocates.
  • Collaborate with external agencies for caption translations and content localization.
• Social Media Advertising & Performance Analysis
  • Manage and optimize social media boosting, with a strong understanding of Meta (Facebook & Instagram) ad tools.
  • Track, analyze, and report on social media performance, including engagement, reach, and product sentiment.
  • Conduct competitive and trend analysis to refine content strategies.
• Cross-Team & External Collaboration
  • Work closely with the international sales and marketing teams to provide social media coverage for retailers and promotions.
  • Communicate with external agencies for caption translations and content delivery.
  • Support multimedia and design teams in developing high-quality creative assets.

Requirements

• 4-8 years of experience in social media management (preferably within the beauty industry).
• Strong writing skills with experience crafting engaging social media captions.
• Proficient in Instagram, Facebook/TikTok, and Pinterest.
• Experience in community management and content scheduling tools (Dash Social preferred).
• Strong iPhone photography skills and ability to create visually compelling images.
• Video content creation skills, including filming, editing, and conceptualizing engaging social videos.
• Comfortable appearing on camera for occasional content, when needed
• Graphic design skills using Canva and ability to collaborate with designers on more advanced assets.
• Knowledge of Meta social media boosting and paid content strategies.
• Strong analytical skills to track social media performance and product sentiment.
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment while managing multiple projects.
• Fluent in German, Polish, Czech or Slovak (optional).
