Production Team Lead (Internal)

We’re excited to add a team lead to our Production team to supervise the daily activities of the team to ensure that volume and quality standards are achieved. As a team lead, you will monitor activity, identify problems, and suggest improvements to drive further efficiencies. You will serve as a knowledge resource for others on the team by providing mentorship and coaching, establishing best practices, onboarding new staff, and managing team performance. At this time, we are only accepting internal applications for this position. 

About the role

• Act as a key stakeholder in providing feedback on performance-related matters, though not directly conducting performance reviews

• Proactively share feedback with your direct manager in a timely manner

• Lead bi-weekly 1x1 support with underwriting associates (UAs)

• Field questions, concerns, or consults on best practices or responsibilities from UAs

• Contribute to business production

• Continue to achieve 99.9% accuracy on all production assignments for both yourself and UAs within your pod

• Alongside UAIIs, perform QA work and provide feedback to the Business Optimization team to further drive efficiencies on QAing/CloudFactory

• Host weekly meetings with your production pods to set focus, collect updates, drive production forward and collect feedback from UAs on issues, trends, or positive feedback

• Create and maintain training documentation, process documentation, and other resources

• Attend sprint reviews to identify potential impacts to production

• Organize training for and lead special projects (ex: doc classification, policy # backfill)

About you

• 18+ months of experience in product and demonstrated success in accuracy and project work

• Strong understanding of the team process and working experience as an individual contributor with proven performance

• Ability to challenge and lead team members toward peak performance
