CLEARANCE REQUIREMENTS:Department of Defense Secret security clearance is obtainable within a reasonable amount of time after hire. Applicants selected will be subject to a U.S. Government security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information. Due to the nature of work performed within our facilities, U.S. citizenship is required. Candidate must be local and able to work onsite.

As a Subject Matter Expert with extensive experience, the Senior Advanced Engineer Support Specialist will analyze the effects of projects upon various areas such as Engineering, Facilities, and the labor pool to determine the most practical and cost-efficient methods to obtain the required resources; analyze, troubleshoot and provide technical skills during research and/or product development; and determine, monitor, and review costs, operational budgets and schedules, and manpower requirements. You’ll be expected to perform all aspects of Systems Engineering disciplines including Requirements Analysis, Use Cases and Data Flow Diagrams development as well as defining system default data definition through Interface Control Documents (ICDs) development. You’ll also perform research and engineering laboratory functions involving the layout, building, testing, troubleshooting, repairing and modification or electronic or electro-mechanical devices, assemblies, subsystems, and systems, as well as system integration and testing and regression testing of software.

What You’ll Experience:

  • Leading program-level integration for the Strategic Weapons Control (SWC) Fleet Ballistic Missile (FBM) portfolio, ensuring alignment across technical, schedule, and resource plans.
  • Identifying opportunities to apply AI for continuous improvement and innovation within defense and federal contracting environments.
  • Collaborating with Engineering, Program Management, Production, and Navy stakeholders to maintain program health and achieve contractual milestones.
  • Analyzing risks, schedules, and performance metrics to develop recovery actions and ensure mission success.
  • Traveling as needed to support proposals, programs, and cross-team coordination.

What You Bring to the Table:

  • Advanced skills in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint) and EVMS or scheduling tools.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and time management abilities with attention to detail and accuracy.
  • Expertise in program and product life cycles, financial processes, and coordination with multiple subcontractors.
  • Professional communication and problem-solving skills, with the ability to adapt to changing priorities and work effectively both independently and in teams.
  • In-depth knowledge of defense or federal contracting and experience with DCMA audits.

  • Passion for innovation and continuous improvement through AI and advanced technologies.
  • Candidate must be local to area and able to work onsite. Some telecommuting allowed.
