Since our founding in 1986, we have graded and authenticated millions of items. We employ more than 1,700 people across our headquarters in Santa Ana and offices in Jersey City, Seattle, Hong Kong, Paris, Shanghai, and Tokyo.
We’re looking for a Director of Marketing Operations to join our Marketing team to oversee all operational aspects of the marketing department and provide strategic support to the CMO. The successful candidate should be comfortable making decisions in a dynamic and fast-paced environment and possess a collaborative mindset to lead cross-functional teams. In this role, you will manage 2 Project Managers and help lead major programs across the marketing organization.
This is a remote position, reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer.
What You’ll Do:
- Oversee the day-to-day operations of the marketing department, including budgeting, project management, and campaign execution.
- Lead the project management and operation for the internal creative studio, including allocating and prioritizing work for all the designers and copywriters.
- Help manage the marketing calendar and ensure all campaigns are executed on time and on budget.
- Lead weekly operations reviews where each marketing leader presents status and progress against metrics and goals.
- Lead a quarterly business review for leaders across the business.
- Develop and implement operational policies and procedures to ensure efficiency, accuracy, and consistency across all marketing activities.
- Manage relationships with external vendors and partners to ensure timely and cost-effective delivery of marketing materials and services.
- Collaborate with the CMO and other executives to develop and execute the company's marketing strategy.
- Conduct research and analysis on market trends and customer behavior to inform marketing decisions.
- Provide strategic support to the CMO, including preparing reports, presentations, and other materials for board meetings and other key stakeholders.
- Manage special projects and initiatives as needed.
- Lead by example and be a champion of all company policies, including safety, attendance & security.
Who You Are:
- Bachelor's degree in marketing, business administration, or a related field. Master's degree preferred.
- 10+ years of experience in marketing operations, with a track record of driving results and managing complex projects.
- Experience working across an entire marketing organization, especially with brand managers, product marketing managers, growth marketing managers, and creative producers.
- Strong project management skills, with the ability to effectively allocate resources and prioritize tasks using project management tools such as Monday.com or Asana.
- Proficient in using the Google suite of apps, especially Sheets, for data analysis and reporting.
- Ability to feel comfortable working with qualitative and quantitative metrics, and lead discussions about performance for both brand and growth.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build relationships with key stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Collaborative mindset with the ability to lead cross-functional teams and work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
- Knowledge or strong interest in collecting or a related field is a plus.
Salary Range: The salary range for this position is $154,545-$230,455. Actual compensation on this range varies based on a variety of non-discriminatory factors, including location, job level, experience, and skill set.
