Position Summary

The Office of Engagement & Annual Giving Programs strives to establish a pathway that enables alumni, parents, students, and friends to develop a lifelong philanthropic relationship with WashU, contributing to its growth, sustainability, and continued excellence

The Assistant Director for Special Projects will collaborate with Executive Director, Strategy & Operations, in executing long term, short term, and recurring projects. The Assistant Director will provide project management oversight, data analysis, and reporting services. The Assistant Director will also provide support to the Director, Travel and Education in the administration of over 15 educational trips each year.

Job Description

Primary Duties & Responsibilities:

  • Undertake Special Projects as identified by Executive Director, Strategy and Operations: Provide project management, data analysis, and reporting support for special projects in support of the EAGP mission, vision, and goals. This includes planning and managing project goals and project schedules; supervising current projects and coordinating all team members to keep workflow on track; acting as the point of contact -- communicating project status to all participants and stakeholders; and measuring project performance and making adjustments as needed.
  • Data Collection/Tracking/Analysis:
  • Update and prepare monthly reports for post event surveys and providing learnings and insights. Track EAGP completion of event intake and debrief forms and create event reports in collaboration with teams.
  • Assist with the monitoring and updating of Objectives and Key Results for EAGP, requesting and analyzing data on a regular basis.

    Assist Executive Director in gathering data for participation in surveys including but not limited to the CASE Alumni Engagement Survey.

    Support Travel Program

  • Support the Director of Travel Program and Education in the administration of over 15 educational trips each year by processing trip registrations in the CRM and communicating with travelers. Update the program’s mailing list on a regular basis and provide lists as needed to external vendors. Assist with data analysis in an effort to show the impact of the program. Maintain various spreadsheets including a financial tracking spreadsheet.

Salary Range

$49,700.00 - $82,100.00 / Annually
