At Blue Cross Blue Shield of Massachusetts, we have an exciting opportunity for a Digital Asset Management (DAM) Administrator to administer, operationalize, functionally maintain, manage, and optimize our enterprise DAM platform. This role involves leading in system usage, stakeholder support, metadata management, user training and configuration, and asset management. One key goal of this role is to improve asset quality by collaborating with various teams to maintain a well-organized and efficient digital asset library. This role will also handle tasks like asset licensing, system maintenance, and providing user support. DAM Administrator is not only adept in the technical aspects of Digital Asset Management but also excels in communication, organization, and stakeholder engagement.
RESPONSIBILITIES AND DUTIES:
- Administer, manage, and support DAM users with challenges, including access, role configuration, reporting, uploads, and asset and metadata editing.
- Create, communicate, and enforce processes and procedures for user roles and permissions alignment with business processes as a DAM Administrator.
- Monitor DAM usage/performance, gather user feedback, and provide quarterly reports on system, processes, and training improvements.
- Provide ongoing training and support to business teams and users for efficient asset submission and management within the DAM system.
- Establish and keep up-to-date with new DAM capabilities and support "best practices" for system improvement, user experience enhancement, and effective asset management.
- Support and enable omni campaign orchestration to leverage DAM assets.
- Collaborate closely with users and business stakeholders to ensure file upload consistency, metadata accuracy, and adherence to policies and procedures.
- Work closely with technical teams and vendors to escalate system issues and make decisions on functionality enhancements or policy/process modifications.
QUALIFICATIONS:
- Bachelor's degree in information systems, Marketing Asset Management, Database Administration, Library Science, Archive Management, Communications or related fields is required.
- Minimum 5 years of direct experience administering Digital Asset Management capabilities for an enterprise.
- Extensive experience with Digital Asset Management platforms, preferably Acquia DAM, and the ability to search and report on assets based on metadata and other DAM attributes.
- Strong background in digital asset management, including metadata application, taxonomy design, and metadata structure development.
- Skilled in data entry with high accuracy and expertise in the DAM's metadata control mechanisms.
- Proven ability to establish and enforce standards via the DAM's governance model (Roles and Permissions).
SPECIAL SKILLS, KNOWLEDGE AND ABILITIES:
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with Visio/Miro.
- Advanced knowledge of Acquia DAM is highly preferred.
- Highly organized, results-oriented, and possesses excellent written and oral communication skills.
Excellent interpersonal skills for effective collaboration with stakeholders and users, both face-to-face and virtually.

An employee’s pay position within the salary range will be based on several factors including, but limited to, relevant education, qualifications, certifications, experience, skills, performance, shift, travel requirements, sales or revenue-based metrics, and business or organizational needs and affordability.
This job is also eligible for variable pay.
