Position Summary
We are seeking a highly motivated Field Service Technician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair industrial equipment at customer sites. The ideal candidate will possess a strong combination of electrical and mechanical skills, excellent problem-solving abilities, and a commitment to delivering outstanding customer service.
This role requires frequent travel to customer locations to perform preventive maintenance, diagnose equipment issues, and ensure optimal system performance.

Key Responsibilities
• Install, commission, and start up industrial equipment at customer facilities.
• Diagnose and repair electrical, mechanical, hydraulic, and pneumatic system issues.
• Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on machinery and equipment.
• Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, mechanical drawings, and technical manuals.
• Troubleshoot PLC-controlled equipment and industrial automation systems.
• Conduct equipment inspections and provide customers with service recommendations.
• Document service activities, repairs, and parts usage through service reports.
• Train customers on proper equipment operation and routine maintenance procedures.
• Maintain a safe work environment and follow all company and customer safety requirements.
• Coordinate with technical support, engineering, and parts departments to resolve complex issues.

Required Qualifications
• High school diploma or GED; technical degree or vocational training preferred.
• 3+ years of experience in field service, maintenance, manufacturing, or industrial equipment repair.
• Strong electrical troubleshooting skills, including:
◦ AC/DC circuits
◦ Motors and drives
◦ Sensors and controls
◦ Electrical testing equipment (multimeters, clamp meters, etc.)
• Strong mechanical troubleshooting skills, including:
◦ Bearings, gearboxes, pumps, conveyors, and power transmission systems
◦ Hydraulic and pneumatic systems
• Ability to read electrical schematics and mechanical drawings.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
• Ability to travel up to [50-75%] as required.

Preferred Qualifications
• Associate degree in Electrical, Mechanical, Mechatronics, or Industrial Technology.
• Experience with PLC troubleshooting (Allen-Bradley, Siemens, or similar platforms).
• Industrial automation experience.
• OSHA training or other safety certifications.
• Knowledge of CNC, packaging, material handling, or manufacturing equipment.

• Ability to work extended hours and occasional weekends as required.

Compensation: $25.00 - $28.00 per hour, contingent on level of experience
