This is a full-time salaried position: Monday – Friday, 1st shift.
Catalent Pharma Solutions has launched a national search to install a Senior Staff, International Tax Operations role. This person will be a member of the Tax Reporting group within the Tax Department and be part of a high performing team that works closely with cross functional business partners on US-International and foreign tax reporting efforts including income taxes for financial statement filings, tax return compliance, and intercompany transfer pricing regulatory requirements. The role will have broad exposure through the organization.
The Senior Staff, International Tax Operations will report to the Senior Manager, International Tax Compliance and Reporting. As a member of the Corporate Finance and Accounting Team, the person in this position will collaborate and partner with internal stakeholders and external tax advisors to identify and implement tax technology needs and automate/improve global tax provision process, to ensure the completeness and accuracy of the Company’s US international income tax provision computations and U.S. income tax return filings; and to prepare tax technical analysis and documentation support on headquarter costs allocation and inter-company transfers. Responsibilities also include assistance ensuring that the SOX controls are operating effectively and have been properly documented.

The Role:
Work with internal tax/finance teams and external tax advisors to identify and implement tax technology needs, including opportunities for process improvements, automation, efficiency gains, and application of tax process and technology best practices via the use of existing technology and the implementation of new technology
Proactively identify and facilitate determination of necessary process and technology modifications resulting from existing recurring tax projects, significant transactions, tax law changes, etc
International Income Tax Accounting – Support the Tax Group’s U.S. International and foreign financial reporting matters, assist with managing the global tax provision close process, support on tax balance reconciliation, track and forecast cash tax payments, support on reporting the tax accounting impact of transactions and planning structures, and help integrate compliance and
provision processes into one seamless cycleUS-International Income Tax Compliance – Assist with managing and coordinating the timely completion of all US international income tax compliance requirements with the Company’s outside service providers for timely preparation of the company’s U.S. Federal income tax returns. This includes the preparation of U.S. Federal international income tax returns (e.g. Forms 5471, Forms 8858, Forms 1118)
Prepare tax technical analysis and documentation support on headquarter costs allocation and inter-company transfers by analyzing functional and entities’ financial and economic data
Assist with other tax team member to conduct financial and economic analyses of Catalent’s business operations, industry and market research, economic valuations, comparative financial benchmarking, and report documentation
Enhance and develop tax computational models and analytics to support the Company’s headquarter costs allocation, transfer pricing analysis and planning, and potential audit issues/risks and tax exposures
