Compensation:

New hires start between $34.15 and $45.53 based on experience, qualifications, skills, competencies, internal equity, and market factors. While the full pay range is listed for this position for pay transparency, individual compensation is determined by various factors and may vary within the posted range.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

The Behavioral Health Clinician IV provides quality counseling, case management, education and community support services to clients with mental health conditions, substance use disorders, and/or co-occurring disorders using evidence-based and promising practices.

This position supervises employees and provides clinical supervision.

The below requirements differentiate this position from Behavioral Health Clinician III:

  • Current mental health clinical licensure (LMHC, LMFT, LASW, LICSW)
  • 2 years’ experience post Master’s Degree

 

PRIMARY/ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Client Services

  • Provides evidence-based and research-supported mental health and psychosocial interventions through problem-solving, case management, and group facilitation in accordance with program policy and the clients’ Individual Service Plan
  • Diagnoses mental health conditions and/or substance use disorders in accordance with the most recently published Diagnostic and Statistical Manual (e.g., DSM-5) and ASAM requirements.
  • Collaborates with other Pioneer behavioral healthcare providers and community partners based upon the clients’ Individual Service Plan
  • Provides behavioral health services based upon identified treatment needs specified in the clients’ Individual Service Plan and in accordance with employee’s education, training and certification.
  • Complies with documentation and filing requirements according to applicable WACs, agency, and funder policies.
  • Recognizes, respects, and maintains professional boundaries with clients.
  • Develops and maintains working knowledge of community resources.
