Duties/Responsibilities

• Safe operation of vehicles owned by Reid Petroleum.

• Ensure compliance with company, DEC and EPA regulations regarding the transportation, loading and un-loading and handling of petroleum products.

• Pre-trip and post-trip inspections of company vehicles, report concerns immediately.

• Maintain compliance with company, DEC and EPA regulations regarding mandatory accurate and legible reports.

• Represent Reid Petroleum in a professional manner by performing exemplary customer service skills at all times.

Physical Demands

• Work a 52 hour work week, overtime paid for any time over 40 hours.

• Ability to sit, stand, bend, stoop, and reach for long periods of time.

• Ability to drive long distances.

• Ability to read, write and basic math skills.

• Ability to follow written and oral directions.

• Ability to withstand the effects of adverse weather conditions.

• Ability to report information (written or electronic) correctly.

• Ability to lift 75 pounds.

• No sensory aversion to petroleum products.

• Valid NYS Drivers License that meets company policy.

• Comply with all guidelines under the Drug-Free Workplace Act.

• Comply with all guidelines under DOT regulations.

• Work near moving mechanical parts.

• Fumes or airborne particles.

• Toxic or caustic chemicals.

• Works with limited supervision.

Requirements

Minimum Qualifications

• Valid Class A NYS drivers license with no restrictions, Hazmat and Tanker Endorsements which meets with company policy.

• High School Diploma or equivalent.

• 21 years of age.

• General knowledge of vehicle maintenance.

• 3-5 years experience delivering petroleum products.
