About the role   We are looking for a skilled and detail-oriented Senior Quality Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will be responsible for both developing and maintaining robust automated test suites as well as carrying out thorough manual testing across our web applications. You will work closely with developers, product managers, and DevOps teams in a fast-paced Agile environment to ensure the highest levels of software quality.

What's the job?

• Develop, maintain, and optimize automation test scripts, ensuring adherence to best practices and seamless integration into the CI/CD pipeline. Facilitate skill development in automation where necessary. 
• Design and execute manual test cases for scenarios not covered by automation. 
• Ability to conduct front-end, back-end, API, integration, and regression tests to validate system functionality, performance, and stability. 
• Log, track, and prioritize defects, ensuring timely fixes and accurate documentation. 
• Provide input on testing scope, complexity, and effort during estimation and planning sessions. 
• Manage the entire testing lifecycle, ensuring full coverage and maintaining quality standards within the Engineering Squad. 
• Present test results and insights to stakeholders in "Show & Tell" sessions, highlighting product readiness and quality. 
• Resolve testing challenges efficiently, continuously improving processes. 

What you'll bring

• Extensive experience with Java for test automation 
• Expert in designing and implementing automated tests using Selenium and Cucumber, nice to have experience with Selenide 
• Strong background in manual testing, including regression, smoke, and exploratory testing
