Job Description:

At Regions, the Modernization and Transformation Partner is a key planning and execution partner in the enterprise modernization and transformation initiative.

Primary Responsibilities

  • Contributes to the overall roadmap and execution plan for the enterprise modernization and transformation strategy
  • Provides advanced technical guidance and aligns company objectives with development plans
  • Develops, maintains, and provides both recurring and ad hoc reporting and analyses for various executive forums
  • Partners across multiple areas within the Transformation Office and the enterprise to drive key results
  • Embeds a continuous improvement philosophy and methodology that frequently assesses people, process, and technology
  • Collaborates with leadership at all levels to gain consensus on significant decisions related to key strategic initiatives
  • May contribute to the development of strategic approaches to enterprise-level initiative prioritization
  • May contribute to the identification, evaluation, and development of new processes, tools, and analytics that support Regions’ modernization and transformation efforts
  • May lead a team of associates designated to the to the modernization and transformation initiative

This position is exempt from timekeeping requirements under the Fair Labor Standards Act and is not eligible for overtime pay.

This position is incentive eligible.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in a related field
  • Ten (10) years of related banking work experience

Preferences

  • Experience in Agile methodology
  • Project management and/or Agile certifications

  • Natural leader with the ability to develop the future state vision for the organization and drive he execution of initiatives required to achieve the vision
  • Strong change manager with the ability to influence associates at all levels
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills with leadership presence

Additional Job Description

  • Lead Commercial Credit modernization initiatives leveraging a full-stack .NET architecture
  • Design and build robust backend APIs to support credit platforms and integrations
  • Drive ETL processes and large-scale data movement, including credit data syncing and transformation
  • Ensure reliable data flow, synchronization, and integrity across systems
  • Accelerate development by actively unblocking teams and moving critical workstreams forward
  • Provide technical leadership and mentorship to engineering team members
  • Exposure to front-end development using React (preferred, not required)
