Lumos is looking for a full-time Warehouse Attendant! Are you a detail-oriented, organized individual with a passion for coordination and inventory management? We're looking for a Warehouse Attendant who is eager to play a critical role in supporting our operations by managing shipping, receiving, inventory control, and distribution. This is an exciting opportunity to be at the heart of our warehouse operations, ensuring our team has everything they need to keep projects moving smoothly!

As a Warehouse Attendant, you’ll be responsible for managing all incoming and outgoing shipments from both internal and external customers. You’ll keep inventory accurate and organized, ensuring materials are ready for technicians and contractors whenever they need them. Whether it’s stocking shelves, performing cycle counts, or prepping gear for installation, you’ll be the one making sure everything is in place and running efficiently.

Essential Functions

  • Orders, receives, and distributes all equipment – stocking shelves and maintaining all inventory.
  • Tests equipment before distributing to field colleagues (DSL, Set-top Testing, modems, etc.).
  • Takes action daily to ensure materials, tracked in applicable operating systems, prepped, tested, physically allocated, and made ready for pickup by technicians.
  • Distributes equipment to team members – making sure they are fully equipped to launch and troubleshoot Lumos service directly with customers.
  • Works safely following established safety practices; takes advantage of regular training opportunities including for new equipment, procedures, and installation and repair processes.
  • Controls costs by employing efficient work practices, evaluating purchases, effectively using material and supplies, utilizing fixed assets, and practicing good time management.
  • Performs monthly cycle counts and physical hand counts bi-annually, tracking data in Excel.
  • Responds to requests from colleagues in the field, inputting data into the appropriate system.
  • Contributes admin duties like material management, time reporting, order clearing, and audits.
  • May need to travel to other warehouses with appropriate notice.
  • Performs other duties as assigned, including departmental and cross-functional projects.
