ES Workday Architect

An ES (Enterprise Services) Workday Architect is responsible for designing and overseeing end-to-end Workday solutions that align with an organization’s enterprise architecture and business strategy. Their key responsibilities include defining solution architecture for Workday implementations across modules like HCM, Financials, Payroll, and Integrations, ensuring scalability, security, and performance. They lead design discussions, evaluate business requirements, and create architectural blueprints that guide consultants and developers. The architect also governs integration strategies with external systems (using APIs, Workday Studio, middleware), ensures data integrity and system consistency, and drives best practices across the implementation lifecycle. Additionally, they mentor teams, manage technical risks, and ensure compliance with enterprise standards while enabling seamless digital transformation. To excel in this role, a Workday Architect must possess deep technical, functional, and strategic skills. This includes strong expertise in multiple Workday modules, integration frameworks, cloud architecture, data modeling, and security design. They should have hands-on experience with tools like EIB, Workday Studio, and reporting frameworks, along with a solid understanding of HR and financial business processes. Key skills also include enterprise architecture design, problem-solving, stakeholder management, and leadership. Familiarity with Agile methodologies, DevOps practices, and enterprise integration patterns is highly valuable.
