Regional Sales Leader

Position Summary:

The Regional Sales Leader is responsible for developing and implementing sales strategies to increase market share, revenue, and client base for healthcare services across a defined region. This role requires a strategic thinker with strong leadership skills to manage and support a team of sales representatives while building and maintaining relationships with healthcare providers, referral sources, and key stakeholders.

Required Experience for Regional Sales Leader:

  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Marketing, Healthcare Management, or related field required; advanced degree preferred.
  • Experience: Minimum of 5–7 years of progressive sales experience in healthcare, with specific focus on home health or hospice services. Must demonstrate a proven track record of achieving sales targets and successfully managing sales teams.
  • Clinical Background: LPN or RN credentials preferred.
  • Leadership: Strong leadership, team management, and coaching skills.
  • Proficient in CRM platforms and sales analytics tools.
  • Knowledge: Solid understanding of healthcare regulations, compliance requirements, and industry standards related to home health and hospice care.

Primary Responsibilities for Regional Sales Leader:

  • Develop and execute a regional sales plan aligned with the company's goals and objectives.
  • Identify market opportunities and trends to drive business growth.
  • Set sales targets and performance metrics for the region.
  • Recruit, train, mentor, and manage a team of sales representatives.
  • Monitor team performance, provide regular feedback, and conduct performance evaluations.
  • Foster a collaborative and high-performance sales culture.
  • Establish and maintain relationships with key healthcare providers, referral sources, and community organizations.
  • Represent the company at industry events, conferences, and networking opportunities.
  • Collaborate with marketing teams to develop and implement promotional strategies and campaigns.
  • Track and analyze sales data to identify trends, measure performance, and develop actionable insights.
  • Prepare regular sales reports and presentations for senior management.
  • Utilize CRM tools to manage and document sales activities and client interactions.
  • Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction by addressing client needs and resolving issues promptly.
  • Gather feedback from clients to improve services and offerings.
  • Promote customer retention and loyalty through consistent follow-up and relationship building.
  • Develop and follow a detailed business plan to guide sales efforts.
  • Oversee the use Silver Sheets as a tool for tracking key performance indicators and progress.
  • Focus on daily achievements to build momentum towards larger goals.
  • Maintain a structured weekly schedule
