Staff Accountant

We’re looking for a detail-oriented Staff Accountant to join our Business Office and support daily financial operations. This position is ideal for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and wants to grow within the automotive industry.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintain accurate general ledger entries and perform account reconciliations.

• Review and post vehicle deals, ensuring accuracy and completeness of supporting documentation.

• Assist with accounts payable and receivable functions.

• Reconcile bank accounts, manufacturer statements, and internal schedules.

• Monitor inventory accounting for vehicles and parts, including floorplan reconciliations.

• Support month-end and year-end closing processes.

• Prepare reports and schedules for management and external auditors.

• Assist the Controller and Accounting Manager with special projects as needed.

Qualifications:

• Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field (or equivalent experience).

• 1–3 years of accounting experience, preferably in an automotive dealership.

• Working knowledge of accounting software (CDK, Reynolds & Reynolds, Dealertrack, or similar).

• Strong Excel and general computer skills.

• Excellent attention to detail, organization, and communication skills.

• Ability to meet deadlines in a high-volume environment.
