Work Schedule: Hybrid 

We are seeking a highly experienced Senior Software Business Analyst to join our team. This role demands a skilled professional with a solid understanding of business systems, a strategic approach to aligning system functionality with customer needs, and the leadership capabilities to guide and mentor team members. The ideal candidate will possess in-depth knowledge of business analysis methodologies and be adept at fostering collaboration, driving change, and promoting process improvements.

Key Responsibilities

  • Stakeholder Collaboration: Serve as a liaison among stakeholders to understand organizational structure, policies, and operations, and recommend strategic solutions that align with organizational goals.
  • Business and Technology Alignment: Partner with business stakeholders to analyze key drivers, define systems strategies, and tailor specifications that meet organizational requirements.
  • Change Leadership: Act as the primary business contact for new technology opportunities, advocating for change and facilitating process enhancements across teams.
  • Requirements Analysis and Solution Coordination: Use industry-standard techniques to evaluate new opportunities, document requirements, and collaborate with development teams to determine optimal solutions.

Core Duties

  • Build and strengthen relationships with customers, stakeholders, and team members, including occasional travel for on-site engagement.
  • Acquire and maintain a comprehensive understanding of the Scan to PreScore system to effectively address client needs.
  • Critically assess requirements provided by customers, providing strategic insights on how the PSAES system can best support their goals.
  • Facilitate requirement and design discussions across cross-functional teams, ensuring alignment and mutual understanding.
  • Collaborate closely with portfolio business analysts, data analysts, and cross-team leads to address new requirements and bridge any gaps.
  • Develop, maintain, and implement team standards, guidelines, and tools to support consistent and effective business analysis practices.
  • Ensure accuracy of scope documentation, supporting project scope clarity and consistency.
  • Support quality assurance initiatives and engage in cross-functional team discussions.
  • Participate in daily stand-up meetings, supporting ongoing coordination of setup and development activities.
  • Communicate progress on all setup and development activities, ensuring that all key stakeholders remain informed.
  • Maintain accountability for meeting customer milestone dates and delivery objectives.

Pay & Benefits 

Compensation at Pearson is influenced by a wide array of factors including but not limited to skill set, level of experience, and specific location. As required by the California, Colorado, Hawaii, Maryland, New York State, New York City, Washington State, and Washington DC laws, the pay range for this position is as follows:

The minimum full-time salary range is between $90,000 - $105,000.
