As a Security Officer - Flex Mobile Patrol in Las Vegas, NV, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Retail/Malls, and more.

As a Patrol Unarmed Officer with Allied Universal, you will play a key role in helping to deter security-related incidents at a busy retail location. Your primary responsibilities include conducting regular patrols throughout the property, maintaining a visible presence, and delivering outstanding customer service to visitors and staff. This is a driving post, so you will be responsible for patrolling the premises in a vehicle to help provide a secure environment. What You’ll Do:

• Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
• Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
• Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
• Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
• Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities:

• Provide customer service to clients and visitors by carrying out security-related procedures, following site-specific policies, and responding to emergencies as appropriate.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, maintaining professionalism throughout.
• Conduct regular and random patrols around the retail location and its perimeter to help to deter unauthorized activity and observe for potential issues.
• Monitor entrances, exits, and other designated areas to help to deter theft, vandalism, and/or suspicious activity.
• Document and report any security-related incidents, observations, or hazards according to company and site-specific procedures.
• Assist with directions and general information for visitors and employees within the retail environment.
• Collaborate with store management and/or law enforcement as required during incidents or emergencies.
• Maintain a visible presence throughout the location to help to deter disruptive behavior and promote a welcoming environment.

Minimum Requirements:

• A valid driver’s license is required in accordance with Allied Universal driver policy requirements.
• At least 1 year of security-related experience is required.
• Candidates must be at least 21 years of age.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
