DO YOU HAVE WHAT IT TAKES?  

The Basics:

  • High School Diploma/General Equivalency Diploma (GED)
  • At least 2 years of previous mechanical maintenance experience
  • Strong mechanical knowledge of heavy industrial equipment
  • Schematic/Print Reading Skills
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office Products (Outlook, Teams, Word, Power-Point)
  • Basic knowledge of SAP
  • Mechanical/Electrical aptitude
  • Ability to deal sensitively with confidential material
  • AutoCAD familiarity
  • Technical knowledge in Rotational equipment; mechanical power transmission, drive shafts, bearings, couplings
  • Technical knowledge in Lubrication systems; centralized oil and grease systems, lubrication practices, etc.
  • Knowledge of Predictive Maintenance techniques and analysis

 

 

The Extras:

  • Bachelor of Science Degree in Mechanical Engineering, or combination of post-secondary education and related experience         
  • Maintenance experience in Steel industry preferred
