­­­­­­­­­­­­­­The primary responsibility of the Bartender is to have the bar properly set up to serve residents and guests during service hours as well as assist the Dining Services Director (DSD) with menu pricing of drinks, preparation (recipes) for drinks, special events, beverage delivery, food delivery, inventory, and sanitation.

The Bartender’s interactions with residents, family members and guests in a professional manner are key to maintaining a positive physical and social environment for the residents, family members and guests. 

Areas of Responsibility

• Responsible for the accounting and recording of all beverage sales.
• Ensure that the bar is stocked and prepared to meet daily business demands.
• Greet guests by name, with a smile and in a friendly manner, and the appropriate Good Morning, Good Afternoon, or Good Evening.
