Responsibilities
Under general supervision, and with medical consultation and direction, performs physical, psycho-social assessment; establishes medical diagnosis; orders and evaluate diagnostic tests; manages follow up care; does other related work as required. Responsibilities include performing physical examinations, developing treatment plans, ordering and interpreting lab tests and results, along with providing preventative healthcare and counseling. Coordinates care of assigned patients according to Northside Hospital established Standards of Care.
Qualifications
REQUIRED:
- Master's Degree in Nursing (Acute Care Nurse Practitioner Program) or A college degree as a Physician’s Assistant from a recognized university, affiliated with a medical school
- Please refer to the Medical Staff Guidelines for certifications and credentialing applicable to this position.
PREFERRED:
- One (1) year experience
