Product Manager

This is a remote position.

Requirements

• Perform Ideation/Co-Creation Workshops;
  
• Analyse Documentation;
  
• Write the Product Backlog (User Stories & Acceptance Criteria);
  
• Project Planning and Ensure Clarity in the Backlog for proper Estimates;
  
• Manage Product Software Development (Agile Mindset);
  
• Monitory Sprints Velocity;
  
• Control Budget, Deliveries and Time;
  
• Manage the Project Team;
  
• Negotiate scope changes;
  
• Collaborate with the Development and Product team, with Sales and other stakeholders;
  
• Risk Management;
  
• Manage communication with clients;
  
• Ensure the project documentation is up to date;
  

• Experience with facilitating ideation or co-creation workshops with team members and stakeholders to gather insights and generate product ideas;
  
• Ability to interpret technical and non-technical documentation to distill requirements, constraints, and opportunities for product improvement;
  
• Demonstrated experience in creating and refining user stories, writing clear acceptance criteria, and assigning value to backlog items based on user needs and business objectives;
  
• Skilled in planning project timelines and ensuring backlog clarity to enable accurate estimates. Capable of prioritizing work to align with project goals and deadlines;
  
• 3-5 years in a product or project management role within a tech or software development environment, applying Agile methodologies and promoting an Agile mindset within the team;
  
• Familiarity with tracking sprint velocity to assess team progress, adjust plans, and ensure sustainable delivery cycles;
  
• Experience in controlling budgets and monitoring project deliveries against set timelines. Able to make adjustments as needed to keep projects on track;
  
• Basic team management skills, including motivating team members, handling conflicts, and ensuring productive collaboration;
  
• Proficient in negotiating scope changes to balance evolving client needs with project constraints and timelines;
  
• Skilled at working closely with development, product, sales, and other departments, with the ability to understand and align diverse stakeholder priorities;
  
• Capable of identifying potential risks, assessing their impact, and working proactively to mitigate them;
  
• Strong communication skills to manage client relationships, convey updates effectively, and align on expectations;
  
• Ensures that all project documentation is up to date, organised, and accessible, facilitating transparency and smooth handovers;
  
• Understanding of user experience and interface design principles;
  
• Familiarity with software development concepts, such as APIs, databases, or web technologies;
  
• Understanding on AI based tools;
  
• Proficiency in English and Portuguese at a B2/C1 level is mandatory;
  
  
  

• Certification in Product Management;
  
• Certification in Scrum or Agile methodologies;
  
• Familiarity with design tools, such as Figma;
  
• Experience with project management tools, particularly Asana;
  
• Speaking Portuguese;
  
• Based in the Algarve region;
