Primary Purpose of Position:
North Shore Community Health (NSCH) is an industry leader in exceptional community healthcare delivery. Under the general
direction of the Clinical Nurse Manager, the Per Diem Registered Nurse will provide direct and indirect nursing care and patient education within the scope of their licensure.
This position offers flexible scheduling and a combination of remote and onsite work. The Per Diem RN is expected to work at least one shift per month, which may be completed remotely, and one onsite shift at least every three (3) months at one of NSCH’s health centers (Salem, Peabody, or Gloucester). The nurse should also be willing to assist with or learn triage and Medication for Opioid Use Disorder (MOUD) care via Telehealth to support patient access and continuity of care.
The Per Diem nurse will help manage medication refills and address patient needs both in person and by phone, while partnering with the triage nurse team for patient assessment. The Registered Nurse must collaborate effectively with the site supervisor, medical director, and other health center team members to foster a safe, efficient, and positive work environment.
