The Program Manager, Grid Services Position         Sunnova Energy is currently searching for a Program Manager for our growing Grid Services team. This individual will ensure our ongoing success in executed distributed energy services agreements between Sunnova and our third party partners, such as utilities and grid operators, across the US and US territories.  The role will be responsible for overseeing the growth of grid services programs, which apply virtual power plant technologies to manage distributed energy resources at scale for demand response and other services. The Program Manager will manage customer and dealer-facing communications to educate stakeholders about available programs and drive increased adoption. They will work closely with the marketing department to design and execute on marketing campaigns, and partner with the internal operations and software teams to innovate on better methods of enrollment. The right candidate will be able to leverage project management, operations experience, marketing and communications skills across a range of program offerings.

Program Manager, Grid Services Responsibilities

  • Take ownership of the success of Grid Services program growth, managing work across functions and departments to execute on growth initiatives
  • Manage communications with Sunnova’s sales, dealer experience and customer service teams as the subject matter expert for programs
  • Strategize with business development and internal departments on the go-to-market approach for new program launches
  • Track program enrollment metrics and develop forecasts for expected growth and revenues
  • Collaborate with internal operations team to drive process improvements and resolve issues with customer onboarding in order to improve operational efficiency 
  • Manage good partner relations with Sunnova’s counterparties, including utilities and program administrators, surrounding marketing and enrollment activities
  • Manage stakeholder processes with customer care team to ensure high customer satisfaction and issue resolution[IM1]  
  • Adapt to a quickly changing landscape of programs and technical capabilities while maintaining expertise

Minimum Requirements

  • Education required: Bachelor’s Degree
  • Minimum years of professional experience required: 2
  • Program or project management experience

Preferred Qualifications

  • Knowledge of energy sector
  • Marketing experience
  • Previous experience in distributed energy
