WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR

We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer to join our team. In this role, you will focus on designing and commissioning low-voltage power supply systems for our new plant, ensuring optimal power distribution throughout the facility. This is an exciting opportunity to work on a high-impact project in a fast-paced, innovative startup environment.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT

Your responsibilities:

• Designing Low-Voltage Systems: Design and develop power supply distribution systems for the new plant, focusing on low-voltage systems to ensure reliable and efficient power distribution.

• Power Equipment Sourcing: Collaborate with power equipment suppliers to source and select the appropriate equipment for the plant’s power systems, ensuring high standards of quality and efficiency.

• System Integration and Commissioning: Oversee the commissioning of the power supply system in the new plant, ensuring all systems are installed, tested, and fully operational 

• Wiring and Installation: Lead the design and installation of wiring systems for low-voltage electrical systems, ensuring adherence to safety standards and operational efficiency.

• Troubleshooting and Optimization: Troubleshoot any system malfunctions and ensure the power supply systems are optimized for performance.

• Documentation: Create detailed technical documentation, including electrical schematics, system specifications, and commissioning reports.

Your profile

What you need to succeed:

• A degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field.

• 3-5 years of experience in designing and commissioning low-voltage systems, especially in power supply and distribution systems.

• Expertise in working with power equipment suppliers and ensuring the proper selection of components for optimal system performance.

• Experience in the commissioning process, including wiring and testing low-voltage electrical systems.

• Strong knowledge of electrical wiring, system integration, and troubleshooting.

• Ability to work independently and collaboratively with both internal teams and external contractors.

• A proactive and problem-solving approach to ensuring that all systems are optimized and functioning at peak efficiency.

• A passion for sustainability and a strong interest in cleantech and the recycling industry.
