We’re seeking an experienced Lead Product Owner with deep expertise in telecom wireless and broadband billing. You’ll lead cross-functional teams in a SAFe Agile environment, collaborating with diverse stakeholders to deliver impactful solutions that advance our business goals. If you excel at navigating complex projects, translating business needs into actionable features, and championing best practices in software development, we want you to help drive the evolution of our billing systems and keep AT&T at the forefront of industry innovation.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as the domain expert in wireless and broadband billing, maintaining up-to-date knowledge of company systems, market, and industry trends.

  • Lead the conversion of business ideas and requirements into clear, prioritized features and user stories, ensuring alignment with business goals.

  • Manage, refine, and prioritize the team backlog; ensure stories are ready for development and meet the Definition of Done.

  • Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, IT, and cross-functional teams to identify dependencies, clarify requirements, and drive consensus on feature implementation.

  • Establish and nurture strong relationships with stakeholders, acting as the bridge between business needs and technical delivery.

  • Actively participate in all SAFe Agile ceremonies, including PI Planning, iteration planning, reviews, and retrospectives.

  • Analyze and negotiate priorities, scope, and timelines using strong critical thinking and analytical skills.

  • Communicate effectively with technical and non-technical audiences, ensuring transparency and shared understanding across teams.

  • Monitor industry developments, emerging billing technologies, and competitor strategies to inform product direction and maintain a competitive edge.

  • Drive continuous improvement by collecting feedback and adjusting backlog priorities and features accordingly.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (Master’s preferred).

  • 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Business Analyst, or similar role in the telecom industry with a focus on wireless and broadband billing systems.

  • Deep domain expertise in telecom billing; understanding of billing processes, revenue assurance, charging, invoicing, and related regulatory requirements.

  • Strong knowledge and hands-on experience with SAFe Agile methodology; SAFe certification is highly desirable.

  • Proven track record of building strong relationships with business and technology stakeholders.

  • Excellent critical thinking, analytical, problem-solving, and negotiation skills.

  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills.

  • Experience translating business requirements into functional specifications, features, and user stories.

  • Demonstrated ability to manage competing priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment.

  • Knowledge of market and industry trends in telecom billing is a strong plus.

Our Lead Software Delivery Proj/Prog Mgmt, earns between $116,700-196,100 USD Annual, Not to mention all the other amazing rewards that working at AT&T offers. Individual starting salary within this range may depend on geography, experience, expertise, and education/training.
