The Opportunity

Due to continued business growth, we are seeking an energetic Accounts Payable / Receivable Officer (AP/AR) to join our Adelaide based Finance team.

Reporting to the General Manager Finance, the AP/AP Officer is responsible for maintaining the full lifecycle of accounts payable and receivable functions and processes. Providing a high level of finance and administrative support to both internal and external stakeholders, the successful candidate will have a keen eye for detail and a commitment to continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities:

• Maintaining all accounts payable and receivable functions and processes;

• Daily bank reconciliations;

• Creditor liaison;

• Creditor account applications;

• Credit card statement reconciliations;

• Management reporting;

• General administration and office support;

• Resolve accounts related queries in a timely and efficient manner.

About You

Our ideal candidate will possess:

• At least 3 years’ experience in a similar role, ideally within the construction industry;

• Proven experience in maintaining a large creditors ledger;

• Intermediate skill level in Microsoft Office Suite;

• Continuous improvement mindset and can-do attitude;

• Strong customer service focus;

• Strong written and verbal communication skills;

• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy;

• Ability to work both autonomously and as part of a team;

• Strong ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines;

• Capacity to multi-task and a flexible, proactive attitude.
