Heavy Equipment Operator – Waste Connections

📍 Location: Fountain, Colorado
💰 Pay: $23 - $26/hr (DOE) | 50-55 hours per week | Overtime paid after 40 hours
🎯 Bonus: Eligible for safety bonuses

Responsibilities:

✔️ Operate heavy equipment, including:

• Compactor – Spread and compact trash
• Dozer – Spread daily cover
• Excavator – Excavate soil
• Grader – Maintain haul roads
• Haul Trucks – Transport soil
  ✔️ Work efficiently in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment
  ✔️ Follow safe operating practices at all times
  ✔️ Utilize strong interpersonal skills for excellent customer service

Requirements:

✅ Valid driver’s license
✅ Ability to read, write, and communicate in English
✅ 2+ years of experience preferred

Working Conditions & Physical Effort:

⚠️ Requires strenuous physical activity (lifting/pushing/pulling objects over 60 lbs.)
⚠️ Work outdoors in various weather conditions (wet, humid, exposure to fumes/vibrations)
⚠️ Noise levels are usually moderate
