The role
With the vision to be recognised as a global leader in rare diseases and to continue the growth journey, Sobi has developed a Growth and Value Creation Plan with clear focus areas and priorities to deliver on the strategy. One key priority is to Position Sobi for the future. We want to become the greatest place to work in rare diseases.
In this role you will work closely with the Global Head of People Growth to manage and implement the North America learning and development program. This position reports to the VP, Head of HR North America and will be located in Waltham, Massachusetts. You will also be a key member of the global HR community, contributing to the design and implementation of innovative global programs that will continue to evolve the Sobi culture.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and deliver engaging learning experiences in support of Sobi’s global and North America Vision, Priorities and Values/Culture, that respond to capability gaps that lead to organizational effectiveness and employee engagement.
- Partner with HR organization, Commercial Training Director, and business leaders to gain critical insights and appropriately assess learning needs and opportunities through analysis of organization data, including business imperatives, organization performance, talent effectiveness and management.
- Develop and implement key processes related to Performance Management, Talent Development, Leadership Development, Mentoring/Coaching, Career Pathing, Training and Change Management, in partnership with the North America and Global HR teams
- Manage partnerships with external learning partners/vendors/technology to assist in designing and executing ground-breaking and scalable learning strategies, programs and solutions.
- Implement in-house learning experiences including mentoring programs and peer coaching initiatives
- Develop, market, and manage internal rotation and shadowing opportunities, leveraging internal talent to provide experiential learning programs to high-potential employees
- Build on current programming leveraging Sobi’s new Leadership Competency Model, bringing innovative ideas and solutions in to promote Sobi’s Leadership Development
- Act as a liaison to our Field Leadership Development Director – including partnering on development, promotion, marketing of programs, and ensuring a unified approach to leadership development at Sobi across all departments
- Bring your creativity and innovation to life with your ideas for making learning at Sobi North America exciting – newsletters, podcasts, book clubs etc!
Qualifications
- You have a passion for and knowledge within leadership, learning and development – and want to create a company where learning is an organic part of the daily work and part of our DNA.
- 5-8 years experience in HR, L&D, OD, or similar
- Proven record of successfully designing, leading, managing and instituting an innovative learning and development culture
