The Banking & Insurance Group (BIG) is one of the most successful divisions within CARFAX, serving the insurance, automotive finance, and credit union industries. We are in high-growth mode as the use of vehicle history in these markets is increasing exponentially.

Responsibilities and Impact:

• Be responsible for all aspects of project management, including agile development team product ownership, analysis, project delivery validation (QA/UAT), and other duties as assigned.

• Develop and manage project plans, detailing goals, staffing, schedules, risks, contingency plans, and key deliverables.
• Lead multi-disciplinary and sometimes global/virtual teams through project execution.
• Manage project scope, schedule, and costs, using quantitative tools to track progress and communicate updates.
• Identify, plan, and implement mitigation strategies for project risks to minimize impacts.
• Manage stakeholder expectations, cultivate interdepartmental relationships, and serve as the liaison between business and technical teams to ensure project alignment and continuous improvement.
• Lead the eliciting, analyzing, validating, and managing of requirements, business processes, and high-level solution designs in partnership with business stakeholders, product managers, project managers, and development managers/technical teams.
• Collaborate with stakeholders to define project scope and prioritize the product backlog.

What We’re Looking For:

Basic Required Qualifications:

• Five to seven years of experience in project management, business analysis, or equivalent education and experience.
• Experience delivering projects using Scrum or other agile methodologies.
• Proven experience in both business analysis and project management.
• Solid technical background, with an understanding or hands-on experience in software development and web technologies.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and Atlassian Jira/Confluence.
• Ability to manage multiple projects in a deadline-driven environment.
• Ability to travel approximately 10% of the time.

Additional Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Dragonboat (or similar applications) for project management.
• Project Management Institute (PMI) certification such as Project Management Professional (PMP) or International Institute of Business Analysis (CBAP).
• Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or Certified Scrum Master (CSM) certification through the Scrum Alliance.
